Engine

Engine is a 3 day a week program designed to build and optimise your aerobic and anaerobic energy systems. if you are looking for additional fitness training to supplement an existing program then this is the class for you.

The classes run at 6:15am every Monday, Wednesday & Friday and are available to members and non-members.

For members the class is an additional £10 on top of your existing monthly membership and for non-members a monthly subscription of £20 is required.

 

No prior CrossFit experience is required to do the class and the class duration varies up to a maximum of 45 minutes.

Each session will have a particular stimulus, below is a sample of the class designed to increase your 'Aerobic Threshold'

1min @ 350/500 watts
1min @ 100/200 watts

For 5mins

50sec @ 75/150 watts
50sec @ 350/500 watts
50sec @ 100/200 watts

 For 4mins

40sec @ 75/150 watts
40sec @ 400/600 watts
40sec @ 100/200 watts
 
For 3mins

30sec @ 75/150 watts
30sec @ 400/600 watts
30sec @ 100/200 watts

20sec @ 75/150 watts
20sec @ 500/750 watts
20sec @ 100/200 watts

10sec @ 75/150 watts

Come experience our workouts, our community and our coaches first hand. Classes begin with a group warm-up and an explanation of the workout and the exercises to be performed. The workout is adapted to each individual’s ability and experience.

Free trial classes are held every Thursday at 6:00pm and Saturday at 9:30am. You must register ahead of time before you can take class! Please arrive 10 minutes before class starts.
